I am always on the go and hate how I have to miss meetings when I am traveling. Sure I can video conference, but there are times where my laptop is back in my hotel and I need to phone in. So I want a phone that will make it easy for me to skype anywhere at any time. What are some phones with great picture quality? Thanks for any suggestions!

I've had the Samsung Galaxy s2 for a few months now and have chat conversations with some friends overseas almost daily. Video and audio are always clear, and the text chat is just as fast as on a regular computer.

I use my iPhone and it works quite well for Skype conversations. The video quality is great and I rarely have problems with the audio.

The primary feature of your phone which will allow you to make use of skype properly is the secondary camera, that also, a good one. Because without a secondary camera also known as front facing camera, it would be pointless to use skype on a phone. So first of all you need to make sure that whatever phone you want to go with does have a feature of front facing camera. Secondly, as far as the best phone for skype usage is concerned, I think any Windows Phone 7 with a secondary camera would be your best bet. As a business personality, I think Windows Phone 7 is going to meet all your requirements since you won't be an applications maniac. Windows Phone 7 would provide you a much faster operating system with all of your useful features integrated right on the desktop which will allow you to make use of them much faster and easier. So as far as my personal opinion is concerned, you should go for any Windows Phone 7 with secondary camera. You are going to love it not only for skype usage but as a whole. Although if for some reason you are not willing to get a Windows Phone, you should probably consider getting Galaxy S-II. Its a great Android Phone and quite affordable as well.

The top3 (iPhone, Samsung and Blackberry) will do well. The newer models will do much better if you need the video. Now unfortunately Skype does not license with all wireless operators (e.g. not with AT&T in US), hope that is not an issue with the wireless operator you use !

I have an iPhone and it works really well with Skype. Sound quality is great, as is video quality and I've never had an issue connecting with someone else or a bug/error while using it. I'm sure it's great on any smartphone though, Skype is great and everything they make is usually great.

I use Skype for my iPhone as well and I love it, it's solid in every possible way and I've never had any complaints. Sound and picture are always crisp and the app runs smoothly for me!

I have Samsung SII and I have made a video call and Skype on it several times and I was contented with it. The images are clear and close to no delays. Of co**** your internet speed will also be a factor in here.

IPhone 4S will be a very good choice also. I see that Apple is very confident about the quality of the front facing camera of 4S so I think it will really be best for Skype and video calls.

Personally I have an iPhone and it works wonders with Skype, let alone everything else as well. I've heard nothing but good things about the new Samsung Galaxy phone also. But I think Apple still has a lock on the phone market by producing the best product. Of course, everyone's entitled to their own opinions.
