Do you hire PPC professional for managing the adwords account?

Do you? I am currently using one at pretty hefty price. But I am making profit as well.
Frankly he cut my price by almost 25 percent and diverted the words or searches to more profitable ones.

What would you do?

Why would you want to hire someone to do the job that you can easily do. You can do anything in your life by yourself. And I personally , would never hire anyone to do a job that I can do.

I have got to disagree with ljepilo,

Its fine to run your own adwords when starting out with just a small amount of money, but adwords is all about scalability. Positive and negative matching keywords and creating set conversion funnels.

Most people know basics of Adwords, but if you are serious and if your spending in excess of £500 per month on it i would recommend getting someone who knows what they are doing.

The problem you have is if you yourself only know the basics, how are you to know if they are doing good or bad.

Its hard, but just use your margins and figures to guide you.

I.e if you buy a product for £50 and sell it for £100 your margin is £50, so basically your adwords needs to make a sale within that budget (thats the very worst scenario), you would set your own company margin levels and advise your PPC person to not exceed that

Right now I have just started with adwords and it's kind of easy but as a beginner, you really have to put time on it. Much time actually. With small amount that I have, I can;t expect to really get profits as of now but if I have enough funds, I could consider hiring an expert on it just so I can do other things with my business.

I can understand if you're new and things are difficult. You might have to hire outsourced help like that.

But do yourself a favor. Learn some of the tricks of the trade. Because in the end, this is something you can do for yourself without having to pay others to do it for you.

You should learn to minimize the cost yourself.
No point add a middleman to increase the cost for very little work load.

It's not something complex or time consuming at all.

I have tried adwords before and its not so difficult to actually manage ppc advertising. After all you can edit everything you have set up once you don't like the results. so if you wanted to edit the .cents per click because you feel like you're being robbed, then edit it.

When I started using Ad words I got a voucher code for 130 pounds and I was experimenting with that but if you are spending a lot of money on the campaign you should hire someone to do it for you.

I find that commission to be huge, but on the other hand I have no idea what's the normal rate in the industry for this service.

I would rather manage my account alone, at least in the first months, but, if you have more work to do than just this and they do seem to work amazingly well for your adwords campaigns, such consultants are a good idea. As a business owner you need to learn to delegate and it's exactly what you're doing.

Currently, I do my own PPC campaigns. I can't see myself hiring someone to do it unless I can be convinced that their expertise outweighs mine.
