What are some good webcams for video conferencing? I am looking for around 10 webcams for my employees and was wondering if I should go with integrated mic or separate microphones. I feel like I would be saving money on the integrated mics, but will lose it if either the cam or mic break. Any advice?

The best ones that I have used so far are these new current ones I bought from NewEgg, the Rosewill RCM-8163 True 1.3 M Effective Pixels USB WebCam. I paid about 20 US dollars apiece, and they have an integrated mike, clip right onto the monitor, and the video is close enough to high def for the office to look nice and professional!

I use Microsoft cameras. They have built in mic's but the one thing you have to watch out for is the speakerphone junkies and the feedback. You don't mention it but are they using headset?

I use a Logitech QuickCam Orbit AF 2.0 M Effective Pixels USB 2.0 WebCam. I bought it because it was the most expensive web camera available, and I was in need of a better web camera over the one I bought in 2000. I use it for Skype video call, and it is very clear. It has a built-in microphone, and I like that too. It was bought in 2007, and I see the price is only slightly cheaper now.

Skype is a great tool but for more professional and customised settings there are many services out there than can provide an even greater functionality such as webinar software. These may include citrix, gotowebinar etc.
