I am using Namecheap. It has provided me good service for a few years. You can even get a discount with their latest offers.
I am also a big fan of Namecheap. They have great customer service and a user friendly interface.
I really am not picky when it comes to domain name providers. Actually my domains are spread out in different providers (Name.com, Namecheap, and Godaddy). I choose one according to prices and current promotions. Among these my favorite is Godaddy because they have a professional customer service and a very functional backend or user administration panel.
I think Yahoo is a great oneThey usually rank high in search engines thus making your site more visible. Also Godaddy is recommended as they are fairly cheap and they also rank high

Namecheap is by far the best, they offer free whois info protection, and every once in awhile they get a few nice coupons for cheap domain registrations.
I've always used GoDaddy until of recent I started to jump ship towards NameCheap. Both companies are excellent domain registrars although at this point in time I'd lean more into telling you to sign up with NameCheap over GoDaddy. That's just a personal preference though as I know a ton of people who still do all there business with GoDaddy.
I've had numerous bad experiences with GoDaddy in regards to a domain that I purchased, and it left a bad taste in my mouth for ever doing business with them again. Nowadays, I use Namecheap because they actually look out for you as opposed to seeing you as a constant target for upselling.
GoDaddy. Never had a problem and if I do, I can go their office.![]()
I can't really compare since I have only recently registered a domain with GoDaddy. It is the only company I am using now.
One thing I don't like about GoDaddy is, they make all your information available to the public... if you want to make the domain owner info anonymous, you have to pay them. I feel like being robbed.
Is there any domain name company out there offer default anonymous ownership of domains?
How is their price compare to GoDaddy?
