What sports did you play in high school?

Figured we could get this started.. thought I did it before but I don't think I really did. What sports did you play in high school and what positions did you play?

I played football, started at nose tackle and defensive tackle. Also go stuck at defensive end during a few plays, not very many. During practice I had jumped into line backer on the scout team because no one else wanted to do it one practice.

Also, I threw shot put in high school.

I was a cheerleader does that count? lol I wasn't really in any sports but other than cheerleading I was into dance and track and field.

I'm a writer and an IT geek. I don't do sports and didn't do them in high school. Honestly never understood the attraction.

That said, I was pretty good at most sports involving anything like a weapon - baseball, field hockey, etc. But I didn't enjoy them and would avoid them at almost any cost.

Oh, and I usually did fine in book fights in the library.

I went to an all girl Catholic high school. Volleyball was the default sport. My sport of choice was tennis. I love tennis.

Oooops. I didn't really play sports in high school, I mostly danced. But during my elementary days, I used to join badminton during intramurals and sports festival. And oh, I did win 2nd place on 5th grade then 1st on 6th. Not bragging, just proud. Lol. That's where my sports career started and ended.

I played Basketball in high school, and I still play. I never made the team, because I didn't go to the second tryout since I was feeling sick (smoked too much). But I could have easily got on the team since my school was really bad at basketball, and I would be the star on that team and I'm not that good.

I played tennis when I was in school. Actually I was on the school team. It was a lot of fun because my school was a co-ed school and the juniors girls thought that it's glamorous to be coached by the senior boys. The senior boys didn't object, of course.

I wasn't into sports until I got involved with a friend who plays badminton. I was just playing chess during my high school years.

I never really got into too many team sports that involved the tossing, catching, kicking, or otherwise handling of any inflated spheres. But I was a martial artist from the time I was 8, and I think that sport served me far better in the longrun.

I never played on a sports team but I always (and still do) love to play soccer and basketball. I started to like tennis but boy is it difficult! Oh well, I'll have to give it another shot one day. I loved badminton even though I only played it a handful of times. It's addicting!
