    I would go with Google.

Yahoo was once the big dog in the yard. But that was a very long time ago.

I would have to go with Google. Nowadays when you run into something you cannot solve or want to find out more about, would you "Google" it or "Yahoo!" it? I guess the former sounds more familiar and natural doesn't it? Google has already become part of our dictionary and you really cannot deny that seeing how they are constantly expanding their business. They bought over Youtube, took over the photo editing website Picnik (by shutting it down...), challenged Skype with Google Voice (and I heard it's no longer free now), gave us Gmail (thankfully) and are still constantly optimising and improving their search engines. They are growing at such a rapid pace, it is difficult to comprehend the day of them falling and being taken over by Yahoo! or any other search engine companies out there. But I'm sure one day some revolutionary and innovative search engine might do just that to Google, just like what Google did to dear old Yahoo! Tides will change with time I guess, but for now, let's just enjoy the convenience Google provides!

Sounds intriguing. So what exactly is this money point offered by Google? Do we get points which we can exchange for money if we use Google to search on the net?

I prefer Google but it is only because it currently is, love or hate it, the best! I would love to see another search engine give Google a serious run for its money and some day it will happen - I just don't think it will be anytime soon. When it does happen, it will be because Google, like Facebook, has spread itself too thin - wanting too many fingers in too many pies.

I've been using Google my whole life. Yahoo just isn't as good as Google but who knows maybe one day Yahoo will surpass Google. I feel like a new search engine is going to be released and is going to overtake Google. Google is so simple as well it doesn't have a huge homepage with all these different things to it. I was reading a thread about minimalistic designs and Google definitely uses that style make it more appealing in my opinion.

Google is obviously used more right now than other search engines like Yahoo!, which is not even close to the Google Traffic amount. I think the major reason for this overwhelming triumph is that Google makes a lot of regular updates and changes to it's ever-changing search algorithm to better the results of it's search, something that Yahoo is not doing. It actually uses Bing's search algorithm now, and has Bing's logo on the search results page, as a result it's losing its popularity among the users of the internet. Yahoo actually laid off a large portion of it's employees recently too.

Yahoo will never be the same standard as Google.

Although it does serve a bit of a unique purpose, I guess.

    So google all the way!

I will be greatly surprised if the Yahoo user-base extra reaches the capacity of Google. Right now, Google has the market and the attention of the people. Even the word "google" has become a cornerstone in conversation.
