Hello guys! I am just curious of what are your thoughts about this question. I too have a business and so far it's going good. I hope it will be the same for so many years. But what if things will not go my way in the future? Have you ever think of this? My question is simple, I know that when you have your business, you have to fight for it but I know that there will come a time that you wont have a choice but to give it up. So what can make you give up your business? Could it be facing so much loss?

    Could be many things.

From a strictly business point of view, I would have to say having too much of a loss. There is no point in investing more time into a business, if it's going down the path of mediocrity and loss.

No point in continue for the sake of it.

Well like seriously, anything that might discourage you. But to me, if you end your business, then you're a failure. The reason is because just because someone else is doing or something is in your way you can't get over it? I mean how old are you? If you were a 12 year old running your own business then yes that would be okay but I think adults should be strong and tough out in the market.

I think my family is the only thing that could make me give up my business. I almost gave it up for my 2 year old son who wanted his mommy around more not too long ago. But I never ended up having too as I was able to have my mom help out with the business so I could spend more time with the little man Other than that, nothing could make me give it up. Unless of course im offered a better paying job!

Winning a few million in the lottery could definitely persuade me. Not sure when that will happen. lol But nothing than that nothing else really can stop me. As long as I want to do it I am going to do it.

Honestly, I don't think anything could make me give up my business. Even if I suddenly struck billions of dollars, I don't think I could see myself giving it up. That's the thing about when you love what you do, no amount of money or situation can tear you away from it.

I would consider giving up my business if I were losing money, if my effective hourly pay were too low and I couldn't get it higher, or if it were taking away too much time from my family.

On the other side of the coin, I would also consider selling my business if the offer were right. I've had one business that I worked on for a year and was able to sell. Taking into the price of the sale, it was the most profitable business, per hour worked, I've managed to build.

Nothing could make me give up on my business, I am to dedicated, and owning a poker business is my dream, and nobody will take that away or discourage me from making it work.

If the business is making me money, there is no way I will have to give it up. But if it is not, I will give it a little more time to catch up. If it does not recover, no way will I keep it running. I'll try to venture in another one.

I can't foresee a time when I would give up my business. If I would a multimillion dollar lottery, but that's unlikely time happen because I don't play. Even if my business was to lose money, I would find a way to retool it. I have done it before. I started one business and transitioned it to another type of business. My service wasn't in demand, but the software I used was. So, I started selling the software, doing training and support. In a few years, my business may not look the way I planned it, but I will still be in business.
