Do you write your the sales copy on your sales pages and website? Or do you pay for a professional copywriter? I write my own copy. I keep a copywriting swipe file. I keep copies of any marketing materials or sales copy that appeals to me. I also bookmark sales pages online that inspires me.

I write my own articles and the sales page. I'm not a good writer but I have successfully make people bought some products, I guess its just making them think you are legit.

I write my own sales pages. If I want someone else to hire me as a copywriter, then I'd better have some samples.

I write my own, of course, because that's what I do for a living. I also write for other people. So if you need any help writing your web content, you can always ask me to give a hand.

I like to have a hands on approach if it has my name on it. I write all of my own stuff and if I do outsource any of it I always edit it first before sending it out to the site to be published.

Victor, are you a trained copywriter or have you learned from experience?

I do all of my own work. I know that when it is a small business like I have, it is easy for people to ruin it by just putting one word down wrong. So I have to do my own work to guarantee it stays up and running properly for me to use.

Usually I am too busy doing other things, and feel some what overwhelmed. When I am in a crush or am experiencing a writer's block of some sort, I reach out to good old fiver. I give the bullet points of what I want, and Bam..... almost instant results. Even if it isn't what I want, that hasn't happened yet) its only 5 bucks.

I have wondered about the quality of writing on Fiverr. It seems that you have had positive results. Any tips for choosing good Fiverr gigs?

I actually write all the copy for my own sites since I'm fairly experienced in copywriting myself and have seen positive results from various content I have written in the past.

I think that it is better to personally write your own copy as well, instead of hiring someone else to do it unless you have the budget to do so, mainly due to the fact that anyone you hire on a shoestring budget more than likely wouldn't be interested in the content you request for them to write for you anyway, and this may impact your business. Sure some people luck up and find a person that may be familiar with the niche, but most of the time the former is the case.
