    Hi everyone,

I already own one seasonal ecommerce site that has been pretty successful over the 2 years that I have run it but I am looking to setup another site that I can run all year round. The problem is deciding on a niche. I am probably looking to use a dropshipper to fulfil the orders but don't want to enter in to a market that is already flooded. How do you decide what niche you are going to setup in?

    Hello,
It is hard to find quality dropshippers. If you have a method to do this please pm me for joint business opportunities. Anyways where I like to get ideas for upcoming e-commerce websites is alibaba.com. They are a B2B marketplace with just about everything you could possibly sell.
    Best of luck.

I would checkout the hot selling or bestselling items on eBay. Amazon is also a good place to scout for good niches.

I was trying to explore the city and the places nearby in our town and so I decided to document it by having a blog for it. It turned out to be great as I was like telling stories about my adventure and I get to earn thru hotel bookings and adsense thru it.

If you want to do something or wanted to learn like making your self fit without a beer belly, try to blog your way to success.

If that question could be answered by the drop of a dime everyone would be doing it. The best thing you can do is pick something that you're interested in, and hope for the best. What works for someone else may not work well for you. So pick what you like, try your best and hope for the best too.

I don't mind going into a market that seems to be flooded. The way I see it, the reason it is flooded must be because there's a lot of money to be made from it. Currently I am looking into the Middle-East market. Not exactly thinking of selling products to the Middle-East but rather selling products from the Middle-East. One reason for my interest is that the Middle-East is getting a lot of media attention. I am sure there must be a way to make some money out of that.

I've always decided my niche based on whatever I have a passion for. It doesn't matter to me who or how much competition I may or may not have. I usually let my work ethic and passion drive me through.

Most of the time it works.

I think that if you look to eBay and Amazon to find out what's hot, you've already missed the boat. I would stick with Dexter's suggestion and sell what you love. Your passion for your product will show through in your business.

Yup, and if you're passionate about your niche, you don't even have to worry about quality because with passion, quality is almost a given.

This is true. Passion for your work most of the time leads to success. However, just make sure it's not something TOO populated.
