You can use bitly.com to help track your website traffic.
Its also shorten your website links to make it look cleaner.
I highly recommend Google Analytics for this kind of thing. One drawback is that it might be only able to track one website at once, but it is accurate and very easy to use. I'm not sure if it can track more than one website since it's been a long while since I had occasion to use it, but when it did it worked great for me!
Google analytic is the king, it is the best software to track your visitors.

Some people find google analytics untrustworthy so if you're this kind of person who might think google isn't giving you the right numbers, you may consider using piwik.org
If you just started a website and want good tracking you can use StatCounter. It offers a free invisible tracker with a lot of extras. The only drawback is that the free version only tracks all the details for the last 500 visitors or so, but you still get basic historical data. If your website already has traffic and you want in-depth analysis, then Google Analytics is the best option.

I use the software that comes with my website building platform: Weebly, as well as Google Analytics. I feel as though using both of these metrics gives me a pretty good feel for how my site is doing, who's visiting, from where and how they got there.

Google analytics is the best as you can rely on their information. Other sites kinda makes me suspicious about their results being accurate. Also, the page ranks are accurate in Google as it is their own.
Google Analytics and I do hope on Alexa to get more info just to see what they are coming up with. What is the top data you are looking for when it comes to visitors?
