If you are about to get into SEO would you consider having the keywords on your blogpost or have an interesting title?

The title always need to have the keyword, and it has to be interesting too. But if you can't make it interesting, it still need the keyword. So people can actually find your content when they search for the particular keyword.

I always make sure keyword appear in the title, first paragraph, as well as throughout the content. I think it is basic on-page SEO technique.

Both. But the title is more important imho, and it's, alongisde with the first paragraph, your hook. If your title is misleading or not interesting, people won't read the rest of the article.

My tendency is to go for a good attention-getting, thought-provoking title. Then give the summary of the whole article in the first paragraph. The title is for human eyes. The summary is for the search engines.

You ALWAYS want to put the keyword you are going after in the title so everyone knows what you are about if you can make it interesting that is even better.

I think you have to make a title with a little bit of both. You want to have good solid keywords in your title but you also have to attract users from the search page. I think a little bit of both will go a long way. Just don't put lot of keywords or make a title without relevancy to the topic.

The rule I try to follow is, yes, for sure have the keyword in the title (no more than once of course). You also need to make sure the title is interesting/attention-grabbing. For example, I've had great luck writing articles with questions as the title or headline. When people read a blaring headline that asks a question, they can't help but want to read more to get the answer.

The most important SEO elements are the title tags - and these title tags MUST contain at least one of your keywords; more is better. But at least your principal keyword must be contained by your title tags, if you want better SEO results! The keyword's position is also very important: for better results, put your principal keyword at the beginning of your titles - I mean the first (or at least the second) word of your titles to be your principal keyword!

Title tags are starting to be overused though. So I am not sure if these will still work or not. Remember meta used to be the in thing, but now it I useless.

I use keyword in my title and I also try to make it interesting. But keywords always take precedence for me.
