My name is Jason and I am from Reading (South East). I signed up to this forum to gather your expertise as well as look for a potential experienced partner/s ideally in the education or IT/IT Sales sector. Working at a school I have had what I think is a rather good idea but being young and inexperienced within business I was looking for a partner to share my idea with and expand on it. There also isn't much competition in the educational sector and the business would have rather small start up costs to begin with. I also recently had an interview at the competition and saw what seems to be a very profitable industry to start a business in. I am very determined and ambitious to succeed.
Just to give you an idea, I have built a website for my company already, it offers a number of IT services solely to the education industry through remote connection and onsite visits, taking out any need for a Web Admin, IT Technician, Network Administrator or an IT Manager. Clients can use my company as a one off service or a monthly support service, ideally I am looking to drive the monthly support service rather than the one of service.
I have gained all my knowledge of what schools requirements are from previous contracts in IT education, as well as currently working in a school as an IT Manager and have been CRB checked. I have 5 years experience in IT technical support, working on all windows platforms, windows server platforms as well as active directory and exchange.
If you have experience within IT, IT Sales or are currently working in the education industry in the south east area please get in touch with me. I am looking for someone who has business and IT sales experience, preferably within education.
