Just for Amusement Sake: Any Windows 98 Users Yet? LOL

I am being somewhat ridiculous I suppose asking this question. On the other hand I don't judge if the answer to this is yes. I am assuming that Windows 98 or even Windows 2000, or maybe even the ME are all now obsolete. Does anyone use any of these anymore? If so, for what? Offline or online use?

I've never used any of the OS you mentioned, nor have I met anyone/heard about anyone that still uses it. Probably because when people buy PCs and Laptops, they come with at least XP.

No, lol. But I wouldn't be surprised if anyone still does out there. Not everyone in the world is clued up with current events and choose to live in a time that they feel comforable with.

I have used all those oses before. Not anymore. First, I don't hav any reason to. Then, even if I wanted to, I would have a hard time finding the installation files. Third, if I really need to use them because I have an old computer, I can always use a small Linux distro like Puppy.

I'm sure there are a couple of people that are still using those outdated OS right now. Hell, you may even find a handful using Windows 95. But you'd have to look really hard.

My backup laptop had Windows 98SE. I loved Windows 98 and only upgraded the computer to Windows XP because to use up to date software and programs, I needed Windows XP.

I have used Windows 3.1, Windows 95, Windows 98SE, Windows Me ( a complete waste of money) and Windows XP.

I haven't even used XP in a few years personally. My Dad has older OS on his computers (he has two that work ok still), but he doesn't go online with these computers. He has software that runs better on it. That is the biggest problem I find with the newer OS is that it is often hard to get some of the older games and software to work on it.

I think his are 98 and ME but I don't remember for sure.
